At Streams of Hope, our mission is to demonstrate God’s love and foster sustainable change through services that build relationships, meet family needs, and promote a healthier community.

One way we’re working hard to live into that mission?

Developing programs for individuals and families to LEARN and to GROW.

To LEARN means to acquire knowledge of or skill in by study, instruction, or experience.

We are working hard to develop and continue programs that offer opportunities to LEARN things such as:

  • Skills to prepare for the ACT or SAT
  • How to communicate with a parent or child
  • How to do a difficult math problem
  • How to make a new recipe
  • How to start a business
  • More about our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ

To GROW means to come to be by degrees; to become.

Growth is expanding as a person; taking what you’ve learned and applying it with forethought. It’s not so much about adding as it is about becoming something new.

Our programs offer opportunities for individuals and families to GROW in ways like:

  • Starting a business
  • Making better decisions
  • Investing in relationships
  • Stretching abilities
  • Developing good habits
  • Becoming a better leader
  • Mature in a relationship with Christ

What are a few specific programs we have that encourage these opportunities to learn and grow?

Programs like Spring GR, where innovative individuals can learn the skills necessary to cultivate a business, and grow into leaders.

This program helps us live into our mission by building relationships with entrepreneurs and their customers, meeting family needs through sustainable, profitable work and job creation, and promoting a healthier, more flourishing community of businesses.

Programs like our supplemental food services, where families can learn how to make healthy meals and grow an appreciation for family time spent around the table.

This program helps us live into our mission by building up family relationships, meeting families’ needs for sustenance and growth, and promoting better physical health in our community.

Programs like our tutoring program, where students can learn valuable reading skills and grow their study skills and habits.

This program helps us live into our mission by creating mentorship relationship opportunities for students, meeting families’ needs for additional academic support, especially if one or both parents are unavailable, and by promoting a healthier approach to education.

These are just three of many programs we currently offer at Streams of Hope – just a few of the ways we are hoping to help individuals and families learn and grow in our community.

We’d love for you to partner with us on this journey. Check out our programs page for more info on how to get involved with these and other programs.
